Design Lead (Product, UX, and UI Design)
Overview
Nedbank is focussed on being the leading bank in personal and business banking innovation and we were tasked to help them get there.
Scope
I was assigned as both a UX and UI designer and then as Design Lead on various projects inside of Nedbank.
From banker dashboards and interfaces to client facing platforms and services. My work included intensive user research, ideation session facilitation, prototyping, design, testing and product delivery.

UX Work
Establishing a good balance between what the users need and what the business wants is always a challenge.
With that being said, working alongside a very experienced and diverse team of Business Analysts, Architects and Developers willing to adopt and iterate design thinking methodologies and processes, we were able to not only complete, but excelled in reaching our objectives, securing positive outcomes, ultimate ROI and well deserved recognition.

UI Work
With a very competent and experienced UI team and well developed and managed design system, we were able to deliver on all levels of expectancy, helping Nedbank achieve their ultimate goal; being the most client centered, innovative, preferred South African bank and being applauded and awarded for it.
